the world's best diet secret revealed

There is the old joke about how Italian and Mexican women blow up after having a baby.. weight-wise. This italiana gained 60 pounds during pregnancy! And 40 of it stayed with me until the last couple months. I have lost all but 10 pounds!

I have the best diet secret ever. Oh yes, breastfeeding helps. but who hasn't known some chunky nursing moms? I know something that will help everyone. And it won't cost you a cent. in fact, it's better if you don't have a cent.

It's called POVERTY! I'm not talking extra value meal poverty. more like, "why are ramen noodles so expensive?" poverty. hey, we've all been there. We just have to focus on the upside of poverty. Like getting our girlish figures back!

seriously, you realize how little you need, after you have very little. I have never been happier! If I was going to be forever impoverished, I might be saddened, but this is just so I can be a stay-at-home mom. Fair trade in my book! Plus, I have become more inventive with home decor, cooking, toy making crafts. Necessity breeds genius!

I should write a book called. "How To Be Poor". I have gotten so good at it over the years! It could contain tips. One of my specialties is making toys, jewelry and new clothes out of scrap clothes.

Anybody have any tips to share? or perhaps you want to tell about how poor you are or used to be? I must be weird, but I always enjoy when older folks told me about how hard it was growing up broke. My grandpa said the boys in his family had to share one shirt and take turns going to school in it!
P.S. I took that fridge photo yetserday. The milk and eggs are gone...so I'm a vegan right now!

I think that in my really poor days, I ate way too much pasta and gravy and got fat instead. Good for you for finding a silver lining!
