Good fortune has blown my way.( How quickly the winds of luck change!) I have won some things.. special things.. And since there are very few giveaways to list today.. ( Hey, where are you going? Stick with me here.. I have wonderful things to show you!)

I won a Tina Steinberg tshirt a little while ago. She didn't know my size so she sent small, medium and large! What a wonderful person. Bizarrely, they all fit! Yesss! She even threw in a rubber bracelet that says, "I am not afraid. I was born to do this". Don't you just love that? That is going to be my new mantra. These are vintage-style tees, which mean muted colors, soft and thin fabric and slightly fitted shape. I am crazy for vintage tees, but Tina Steinberg tees have the added bonus of being 100% cotton and having earth-friendly messages. "My favorite says,"Bloom...it's only natural". The messages are simple but thought-provoking. And I think I look pretty cute in them! So Ms. Steinburg, if you happen to need a model....

From Lavande blog, I won a $10 gift certificate to Omshanti, a terrific etsy shop with tons of all-natural beauty and health goodies for pretty darn cheap. I am going back there for birthday gift baskets and stocking stuffers. They have some lip balms that sound yummy.. chai flavored lip balm! you can't find that any-old-where! It wasn't easy , but I went the practical route by ordering the herbal bug spray. I live in Mosquito Land, USA so it will be put to the test here! I know that one of the main ingredients is citronella, which sometimes makes me nauseous. The spray had that (in)famous aroma for only a split second before almost completely dissipating. All natural and not stinky. I'm sold on it! And omshanti even sent sample of their belly tea! Etsy shop owners know how to take care of their customers!

And I got a Boca Beth cd in the mail yesterday and have been singing along to the fun, kids songs. They repeat the phrases in Spanish and English in such a repetitive, upbeat way, you can't help but join in!
Tiffany of Bam Bam designs had a giveaway that I won!! I get to pick out any item for my daughter! And if you are more into hipness than lace, you will swoon over her etsy shop! I couldn't decide! I had to narrow my choice down to 4 items, and let her pick! She has fab fabrics and appliques. She even does custom orders! I can't sum up the grandness of her design with a sentence or two. Here are words that might begin to give you an idea of the drool-factor of her shop: capes, cupcakes, kitty cats, scotty dogs, hippie clothes, camouflage, gauchos, sock monkey, cowgirls, hedgehogs, purses, princess. Boys are not excluded! Bam Bam has great boy clothes!!

P.S. Dana at Just Talk is having a dvd giveaway Of "Under Construction",which features oodles and oodles of vehicles and poppy little tunes. I bet little boys in particular will be glued to the tv over this one!
