Whish Body: A Better Way to Shave

Since the onset of puberty, I have been on a quest for a decent shave. Every possible element that can complicate shaving are combined on my legs. I have fair, sensitive skin that is prone to razor burn and ingrown hairs. My skin is dry which makes getting a clean shave difficult. I suffer from the "Italian Curse"- hirsuteness. My legs are hairier than those of most the guys I know. I have a constant 5 o'clock shadow of the gams.

After trying every razor and shaving cream available at department stores, It seemed the only course of action was acceptance , and obscuring my ugly, razor-burned legs with a heavy coat of make up. I had the gumption to ask the Whish Body reps for some products to review, and they sent them out without hesitation. They sent samples of The Almond Three Wishes Body Butter, Pomegranate Savour, and Flawless Ingrown Hair Serum for me to put to the test.

For an optimal shave, you would first wash with Whish Body Three Wishes Body Wash, exfoliate with Three Wishes Sugar Scrub, lubricate legs with Shave Crave, applied with Whish Body Brush, before grabbing your Schitck Quattro, moisturizing with Shave Savour and Three Wishes Body Butter, and then applying the Ingrown Hair Serum.

I only had 3 products to try so I had to skip steps (which is perfectly fine. You can purchase the products based on your needs/issues).

I borrowed my husband's shaving cream and razor for this review. Being a red head, he has very delicate skin so he uses the best razor and shaving cream a man can buy from Wally World. After I tangled with his razor, I felt the old familiar sting of oncoming razor on my shins and knees. I quickly began applying the Savour, a fruity, thin liquid, which made my legs shine beautifully. The burn subsided and my legs looked less red. I can say with complete sincerity that the Whish Body Butter, which I applied next, is the silkiest lotion I have ever used. It smells like a cross between Jergens and an almond biscotti. Often, fragranced products would inflame my newly shaved legs but this products made my legs feel soothed! And what a lovely gloss it gave my legs. The Body Butter is rich in natural oils that moisturize even rebellious skin like mine. Lastly, I layered on the Flawless serum, which reminded me of Aloe Vera gel, and gave that same delightful cooling sensation. My legs are much softer than usual! I'd love to try the shaving brush to see if I could keep that smooth leg feeling for a little bit longer!
